Once A Scout, Always A Scout!!!
I have been a Scouter for more than 50 years. I love the scouting spirit and mission, which not only helps me enjoy life, but also lets me pass on the spirit of scouting to others so we can serve our community and practice self-discipline. I have created a number of scouting groups in Hong Kong, Canada, and the United States. In September 2018, a number of enthusiastic leaders and I set up the first Canadian Air Scout Group, which includes: Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, and Rovers. I am very honored to invite Officer Charlie Leung, an experienced Hong Kong and Canadian Air Cadet officer, to be the highest aviation director of the group. Our aviation bases will be located at the Pitt Meadows Airport. We appreciate the full sponsorship of Canfly Aviation. We are particularly grateful to Scouts Canada for approving this plan for the benefit of young people.

Dr. David Chan
I have been actively engaged in youth activities for many years. I was graduated from the Royal Hong Kong Police Cadet School and had served as the Hong Kong Disciplinary Force. I have also participated in the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corp as the Honorary Squadron Leader. After moving to Canada, my enthusiasm for community charity activities has encouraged me to take part in active roles in the community. Such as participating in the Canadian Air Cadet as the vice chairman of the Squadron Sponsoring Committee. As an individual, I have always show strong interest in outdoor activities. Throughout the years, I have achieved a number of qualifications in this field, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, canoe, lifesaving, first aid, diving licenses, etc., and in aviation, I have also obtained solo pilot qualifications.
Flying may be a dream for many young people, but I hope that through taking part in the activities with Air Scouts, youngsters can be a step closer to their dreams!
